Jerry Vent
Jerry Vent is an Appraisal Apprentice with twelve
years of community banking experience. He
joined Consolidated Appraisal Services Companys in May, 2015 and covers the Northwest
and North Central counties in Ohio. Jerry
combines his appraisal and banking experiences with an accounting background
which includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Bowling Green State
University and three years of experience in public accounting. He is the youngest of eight children and grew
up on a large (for its time) 50 head dairy farm with 400 acres of grain farming. Growing up, Jerry could be spotted in the hay
mound 90% of the time either unloading hay/straw or shooting baskets above the
milking parlor. Jerry graduated with honors
from Upper Sandusky High School in 1995, Bowling Green State University in
1999, and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI in 2012. Besides appraising; his professional
experience includes auditing, credit management, and branch management. Jerry resides in Upper Sandusky with his
better half, Heidi. They have two
internationally adopted children from Chelyabinsk, Russia. Grace was born in 2003 and Ashton in 2004. Jerry refers to the international adoption as
a utopian experience. In his spare time
he enjoys helping on his family’s grain and beef farm, playing and coaching
basketball, and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes. Jerry combines his professional and personal experiences
to provide a comprehensive approach to the appraisal profession. He can be reached at jvent@cappraisal.com or
